Tell us what you need
One form, one address. The more specific your enquiry, the more useful the answer, so a few lines about the actual project beat a general availability question.
What to include
- Form and quantity. Two logs, six slabs, one wide board. Numbers, not "some".
- Dimensions, with your finished size and the allowance you want left on.
- Grade, if you know it. If you do not, describe where the wood will show on the finished piece and we will suggest one.
- Destination country, which decides the freight and the paperwork.
- When you need it. In stock, cut to order and cut from green timber are days, weeks and months apart.
If you are unsure about the grade or the sizes, the definitions are on the grades page and the size table is on the products page. Neither is required reading before you write.
What happens next
Most enquiries are answered within two working days. A quote that needs pieces pulled from the shed and photographed takes longer, and we will tell you when to expect it rather than leave you waiting.
You will get photographs of the actual pieces, both faces plus an angled shot, the defects named in writing, and a total delivered to your address. Nothing is reserved until you say yes.
